Third party iOS apps not launching or keeps crashing

Are you frustrated with your iOS device (iPhone, iPod, iPad) because it stopped opening your downloaded apps? If Yes, continue to the rest of the post to lower your frustration. 🙂

The following steps worked for me on iOS firmware 5.0.1.

Specific App is not loading

Sometimes one app stops working. App fails to launch, It opens and closes immediately. To fix that you have to kill that specific app from the running apps list.

How to fix SMS timestamp on Android

While trying HTC Incredible S and Motorola Atrix 4G, I found that there is an issue with the SMS app. It does not show right timestamp on the received SMS messages. Windows Hotmail/Live Mail Active Sync Setup

Finally, Microsoft has made it official that, starting today, Hotmail and Live Mail will support Exchange Active Sync (EAS) Technologies. What this means is Hotmail users will be able to get Email, Calendar and Contacts pushed to their devices, including Windows Phones, All iDevices, Outlook and some Android devices (Only 2.2). The only requirement is that device must support Microsoft ActiveSync Technology. All iDevices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad) supports EAS out of the box.

Thoughts on the iPhone 4

Being Apple fan, I bought my iPhone 4 on the launch day in Canada. I have been using it for a week now and I am totally in love with it. Few friend of mine asked how it is different than its predecessors, so I am sharing my impressions;

Build and Feel (Hardware):

When you open the box, first WOW factor is its built quality. Very slim form factor with very solid feel when you hold it. It has superior quality glass on front and back. Separate volume control buttons on the left side replaces Volume rocker seen on previous generations of iPhone. Hardware is great with the exception of missing Camera hardware button.
